The First Week

Well it's been a busy week! I've loved the MTC so far and everybody in my District has been awesome. Really wish I had more free time though, haha. So growing up in Illinois and Kansas all my life I'm not used to any mountains and so I keep staring at them will I'm here. All the guys who've lived in Utah all their life think I'm crazy but it's really amazing.

Also, send me emails! Even if you think you haven't done anything interesting, just send something or ask me questions!

And so it begins.....

I am setting up this blog a few hours after Hunter has been set apart as a Missionary and we wake up at 4 am tomorrow to head to the airport! As Hunter writes us I will share his thoughts and feelings while on his Mission and then when he gets home he will have an electronic Journal.

Well, the wake up at 4 am turned into a mad rush to get a different flight as the 6 am flight was delayed and wasn't scheduled to get to SLC in time for Hunter to enter the MTC. A flight change later and we all got to go back to bed for a few more hours. The flight finally left at 2pm. Which was a much better flight time. It also allowed for last minute packing which had been forgotten the night before.
