Another week down! I can't believe I've been away from home for a whole month! But it's exciting! the work here is hard, the weather is cold, and the people are slow to act, but I'm glad I'm here. It's a little frustrating when people are being dumb and not willing to hear the awesome message that we have to share with them. But at least the people are nice, and the mountains are beautiful!
There is not much going on here, it's a quiet place. But a car did stall on a railroad crossing and got hit by a tram/lightrail carriage. Nobody got injured, but it was crazy. I didn't see the actual impact, but seeing a sedan wrapped around a light-pole is surreal!
Trying to find people who are willing to learn is tough! A lot of people have a "been there, done that" attitude and so they're kinda dulled to the idea. But we're trying! I'll bike to every house in the valley if I have to! (But I hope it doesn't have to come to that) I love you all, and I love the support and emails you send me!
